Models and Generation Parameters
The image generation page puts parameters on the left and preview plus history on the right. This guide covers the controls on the left.
Complete Generate Your First Image first — this guide assumes you have already selected a team project and can submit successfully.
Model
The model list is served dynamically rather than hard-coded. When an administrator adds or retires a model, the options on the page change accordingly.
If the model you had selected is retired, the page switches to the first available model in the list.
Switching models affects two other controls:
- Generation parameters are re-derived from what the new model supports; unsupported parameters are cleared.
- Reference images beyond the new model's limit are trimmed automatically.
Choose your model first, then adjust parameters and reference images.
Creative prompt
Required. This is the main input driving the image content. Whitespace alone counts as empty and submission is blocked.
Model-specific parameters
The parameter area has two forms:
- Some models display common aspect-ratio and quality options.
- Models using dynamic capabilities display controls and options configured by the backend.
There is no fixed aspect-ratio list, quality tier set, or default that applies to every model. After switching models, use the fields and values currently shown on the page.
Reference images
This section only appears when the current model supports reference images. Limits vary by model; see Use Reference Images.
Count
How many images one submission generates. Each image is submitted as its own task.
The default also comes from backend configuration, with any local draft taking priority. The available range is whatever the page shows.
Estimated cost
The submit bar calculates estimated credits from the current model, model-specific parameters, and generation count.
The estimate is computed from the current model's pricing rules and changes when those are adjusted. Rely on the figure shown before you submit rather than budgeting against a fixed number.
Drafts save automatically
The current browser saves major form content such as prompt, model, visible parameters, count, reference images, and the linked project and episode. The page attempts to restore it when reopened.
Drafts live in the browser, so they do not survive switching devices or clearing browser data.
If you arrived from another page carrying project or episode parameters, the page uses those instead of the ones in your draft.
