Manage Person and Project Assets

Open Assets

The platform has two asset structures that are easy to confuse: person assets used by video models, and production media organized under team projects and episodes.

Person asset center

The Assets landing page currently separates providers into:

  • Person Assets: person assets available to the current team;
  • Seedance Assets: digital characters, real-person assets, and virtual portraits;
  • Doubao Assets: digital characters, real-person assets, and virtual portraits for the Doubao provider.

Characters, real-person assets, and virtual portrait groups are not shared across providers. If an asset is missing on Video Generation, check the provider, current team, and asset type first.

Real-person assets may require identity verification before upload and registration. Complete the flow shown in the current verification dialog and do not reuse a verification result from another provider.

Project and episode assets

Team projects organize ongoing production, and each project can contain episodes. Open project assets from Recent Projects on the Workbench or from a project in Team Management.

The project page shows project status, project canvases, and episodes. Within an episode, media is grouped into storyboard, video, character, scene image, prop, and audio categories.

Add Asset on an episode currently creates only the asset name and category metadata; it does not upload a local file. For real media, use Import to Assets from an image, video, or video-processing result, or another import flow currently available on the page.

When a generated result uses Import to Assets, choose a target project and episode. Confirm the imported result in that episode's category instead of looking only on the Assets landing page.

Project states

  • Active: eligible users can create episodes, add asset metadata, import generated results, or continue production.
  • Closed: historical content remains visible, but creation, renaming, and other write actions are disabled. An eligible user can reopen it.
  • Archived: the project is no longer a production entry and may be unavailable. Archiving cannot be reversed and generally requires the project to have no valid assets.

Deleting an episode also deletes the assets under that episode and cannot be undone. Confirm the target episode and back up required assets first.
